The Harrisburg Dessert Festival is a 1-day event celebrating all things sugar, held at the PA Farm Show. All vendors in attendance will be selling an amazing dessert or sugar-themed item, with free samples available!
Our Goal
Established in Summer of 2022, our goal is to uplift small/local businesses, as well as present something new and fun for all ages to the city of Harrisburg, PA. In addition, we’re partnering with Bethesda Mission Food Bank in order to further build a positive impact right in our community. All proceeds will be donated to Bethesda Mission. The more the event grows, the stronger an impact it will have, & that is some sweet motivation!
Where did the idea come from?
From a love of sweets! Established by Cece’s Cake Shop owner Cecilia Davis, with support of her husband Dwayne Davis, the idea was born after a local pop-up shop commenced. Having the ability to share desserts, ideas, & experiences with like-minded individuals had Cecilia and her husband inspired to build an extended version of just that! With local businesses on board, news crews taking interest, and inspiration and intrigue by the thousands, they knew they had something! What began as a loose idea on scratch paper quickly grew to an event all ages can look forward to, the Harrisburg Dessert Festival was created!
